Heart in Hand Hooked Rug
The heart in hand symbol, used by the Odd Fellows to signify candor, frankness, and sincerity, has been embraced in many nonfraternal contexts. The best known may be paper love tokens cut in the shape of hands that are intertwined with separate hearts woven of paper strips. This hooked rug may present the emblem as an expression of affection rather than Odd Fellowship.
