Independent Order of Odd Fellows Initiatory Degree Banner
The scythe, skull and crossbones, and all-seeing eye are emblems associated with the Odd Fellows Initiatory Degree that reinforce the seriousness of the obligations that the candidate is assuming. The symbols inspire a contemplation of mortality and the lifelong pledge to help one’s fellow man under the watchful and merciful eye of God.
