The standing figures are quite unique and rarely seen in Finster’s repertoire. The sculpture was exhibited in his outdoor garden for many years.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Sculpture</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/objects/7977/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/26432/full</schema:image><schema:name>Are you ready to meet God, Be Ye Ready</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>n.d.</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>Howard Finster</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Paint on board (double-sided)</schema:artMedium><schema:artForm>Sculpture</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/objects/8363/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/2790/full</schema:image><schema:name>Better for a Man to Have a Mill Stone Tied about His Neck and Cast into the Midst of the Sea Rather than to Offend one of God's Little Children. Its subject refers to Matthew 12:42: “The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it.” Jesus has called this generation of Israelites evil and spiritually adulterous. They have failed to repent despite His preaching about the kingdom of Heaven and despite all the displays of power they have seen in Him. The queen of the South is also known as the Queen of Sheba. She heard about the wisdom of Solomon and the splendor of Israel under his rule and traveled great distances to see it with her own eyes</schema:description><schema:artForm>Paintings</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/objects/7978/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/1692/full</schema:image><schema:name>Train</schema:name><schema:dateCreated>1983</schema:dateCreated><schema:creator>Howard Finster</schema:creator><schema:artMedium>Wire, aluminum, headlight and bulb, beads, and found objects</schema:artMedium><schema:description>(including construction) Large model of train constructed of grid-worked wire and cut sheet aluminum, ends of wire twisted and hooked together to join pieces.
