The dress has smooth dropped shoulders and leg o'mutton sleeves, black sash around waist. Figure framed three sides by pale pink wash. FRAME: Wooden frame with mitered corners. Deep groove four sides 1/8" from face edge; embossed brass mounted on face of frame and flanged into groove. Cove molded oval 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" (at widest points) contained within beaded inner border 4 1/8"h x 3 1/4"w; rosettes on stippled ground in four corners. 1/4" cove all around surrounded by outer border of overlapping acanthus leaves.
