The wooden stopper has a cross piece from which 2 beads hung: one has fallen to the bottom. Inside is figure of woman standing behind wheel on which is wound red yarn.  The carved wood woman wears a calico dress and white colonial shawl and apron.  There is a cross in front of it, inscibed 1799. To which is attached a rectangular paper note which reads: \"She seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands.  William Wright:artist (?)
