With bodies made of snipped and twisted tin encrusted with beads, baubles, costume jewelry, and other plastic miscellany and embellished with decorative touches of paint, the creatures look like insects and crustaceans from another planet. Ranging in size from less than one-half inch to six inches in height, the objects are anything but delicate and petite."},"medium":{"label":"Medium","value":"Paint on tin with plastic jewels and mixed media"},"geographyPlaceregion":{"label":"Place/Region","value":"New York"},"media":{"label":"Media","value":[{"mediaURL":"https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/2876/full","mediaDepartment":"Object Photographs - multiple objects","mediaType":"Image","mediaId":"2876"},{"mediaURL":"https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/2877/full","mediaDepartment":"Object Photographs - multiple objects","mediaType":"Image","mediaId":"2877"},{"mediaURL":"https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/2878/full","mediaDepartment":"Object Photographs - multiple objects","mediaType":"Image","mediaId":"2878"},{"mediaURL":"https://collection.folkartmuseum.org/internal/media/dispatcher/2879/full","mediaDepartment":"Object Photographs - multiple objects","mediaType":"Image","mediaId":"2879"}]},"title":{"label":"Title","value":"Zoo of Tin Can Creatures"},"geographyCity":{"value":"New York"},"textEntriesWebsitedisplaytext":{"value":["sculpture","Object information is a work in progress and may be updated with new research.
