Base of bowl has irregular scalloped edges, a laurel (?) leaf design around the middle and a flared scalloped rim. The bowl holds fruit including clusters of blue and purple grapes, a red apple (?) and a gold colored fruit. Colors of fruit and leaves appear watery and vary in intensity . Bakground is black but with a milky wash appearance. Rectangular wooden frame painted brown .
