Slashed Star Quilt
Slashed Star is a variation of the better-known Mariner’s Compass design. Pattern names tend to vary over time and place, and the names by which we know most designs today are those that were published in periodicals or assigned by pattern companies during the heyday of the early-twentieth-century quilt revival period.
