Triangles and Flying Geese Quilt
Variations of the Flying Geese, or Wild Goose Chase, pattern have been among the most popular American pieced-quilt designs since the eighteenth century. In this example, the “geese” have been arranged to cross in the center of the quilt, while the rest of the textile is composed of thousands of tiny pieced triangles.
