Description

Variations of a simple eight-pointed star with points of diamonds or triangles are among the earliest pieced designs, appearing in quilts from the late eighteenth century to the present. This pattern has gone by many names over the years, including LeMoyne Star (sometimes also called “Lemon Star”), Eastern Star, and Idaho Star.
