DescriptionThis is one of at least four identical quilts made around the same time and in the same Pennsylvania locale, between Bechtelsville and Boyertown, in Berks County. It has not been determined whether one of the makers adapted the Bull’s Eye pattern from an earlier quilt or whether the pattern was published. The design might be characterized as a Blazing Star because it has many more than eight points.
